Caught this guy, Sunday morning on my first catch ever on a frog. The water exploded! That was so much fun. 3.97lbs, so darn close to 4lbs. Maybe I need a new scale lol. I fish in Minnesota, mostly visiting the surrounding metro area lakes, so they tend to be more pressured, but I enjoy the convenience and challenge. Makes catching the bigger ones feel really special. This guy didn’t have the blotchy stripe, which was interesting. Second picture from my GoPro shows how big the mouth is.
