It looks bright here but it’s not really, it just seems natural and it doesn’t affect night vision at all. If I drop something I can flip it on and easily find it but generally I leave it on without realizing, not the least bit distracting or bothersome.
I’m really happy with how my kayak is coming together, the wide open floor is great, it’s proven very versatile for fishing, cruising and hopefully some camping this fall. Really all I have left is to cut the motor shaft down and mount the transducer under the hull. I’m about $2200 in which I think is pretty good considering bow motor and lithium batteries, more than 1/2 some pedal drives (I walk at work, I don’t want to peddle lol).
