Nearly 5lb 2oz catch & release in a private lake in Illinois. Took a solid hour for my heart rate to come down after this one. This really shows how apt the name of the largemouth bass is – look how its gullet absolutely dwarfs the 3-inch chatterbait I caught it on. Makes it look like a tiny snack.
