Broken wrist and all. Went back to his Zebco slingshot since it’s easier for him to cast one handed. Was just out catching some blue gill for some fun to beat the heat this evening. Had a mosquito hook and part of a nightcrawler. I look over and he says “dad, I have a big one”. Next thing I know, he’s pulling this chunker out of the water. No idea how he hooked this thing. Don’t have a scale but felt an easy 4+ pounds. It definitely had some weight to it, and the belly was big.
