Hi everyone,

I recently got a Dobyns Fury DOB-FR703C, and this afternoon I caught the first fish with this particular rod. As I was pulling the fish up to the side of my boat, the rod broke cleanly about 2/3 of the length down. The bass was about 3lbs, so it was fairly large, but not break the rod large. Looking inside the tip part of the rod, it looks like there are fibers that weren't properly saturated with resin when the rod was made. Is this a manufacturing defect that would cause the rod to break? and would this be covered under Dobyns' warranty?

I took a picture as best I could: https://imgur.com/a/AvSMc4G
