So according to this chart, 8lb mono is approximately the same diameter as 20lb braid.
Does that mean that my reel, which is small and only rated for 8lb test (holds 100yrds at 8lbs), this cart seems to imply I could fit 100yrds of 20lb braid
How much does the diameter vary between brands? I def need to make the change, this reel is so small that the memory of the mono is too tight and it birdnests in mid air, several yards away from the rod.
And finally, what braid do you use? Why is it your favorite?
