Hi, I've never really fished in my life so I don't know my way around anything about fishing. I don't plan on making it a huge hobby or anything, but I thought it would be interesting just to do a bit of it to pass the time.
I just bought this Profishiency pocket combo, and I thought they were supposed to come with a line already on it. I could be dumb, but I don't think there's anything here. I would appreciate it if someone could tell me if I'm wrong or if I need to exchange this thing, or if I should get a different pole even just if fishing is a very casual, once in a while thing I might do.

Hard to tell. Push the button for casting and it should lift the spool to see better.
Either way pre spooled reels usually have sucky line that is too heavy. Throw some 6lb mono test on there.
Not sure about rod and reel quality, never seen one before. What is that in front of the reel?
