Never seen this before, if i had to guess its where you should tuck your hookpoint to make your presentation weedless, could be for a weight as well, use it however you want

I’ve never seen a bait like that before, but I would put a big ol’ glob of some scent gel in there.

Its just a pouch that helps the action of the tail and hides the hook, id be curious to see the “pouch” because i dont actually think its one that you put stuff on other than a hook to make the rig weedless
