I’m very pleased where most people would, I think, be disappointed haha. This was my first time fishing in 20 years
The last fish I caught was a big fat carp using creamed corn in a pond when I was nine years old.
Think it’s a spotted bass or large mouth, not sure. Bonus catches were a zebra muscle and a katydid.
Also if anyone has any advice on tackle I’d appreciate it, I have very little idea what I’m doing. Im mostly shore fishing on a big lake. (Winnebago, if anyone’s familiar). As far as species I couldn’t care less. Bass, panfish, walleye, even sheepshead and carp. If I catch something worth cooking thats awesome, but really I just like fishing. Thanks in advance.

Welcome back! Ive not been fishing for a long time but a plastic lure and a jighead always worked well for me!
