My grandfather passed away a little over a week ago and I have inherited most of his fishing gear.
I am 27 living in South FL, most (if not all) of this is older than me lol. I have a lot of freshwater fishing under my belt. Have mild inshore knowledge and very little offshore experience.
Looking for some insight as to what I have been given, and how to properly care for this stuff. He maintained his things very meticulously and I’d like to keep that going for this gear.
Some are in better condition than others but the massive Penn reels all feel totally functional. The smaller reels are a bit questionable, may need some TLC before fishable.
I have 0 intention of selling any of this gear.
Anyone with advice, thoughts, questions, etc are appreciated, let me know please!
