Betta Fish: My new boy!

Hi, I’m new here! One thing leads to another… I haven’t had a betta in many years but I do love them. I have a shrimp tank with what I thought were peaceful fish, too small to bother the shrimp but the blue daisy rice were eating my tiny newly hatched shrimplets! They had to go! I set up a 5 gallon tank and put the little shrimp eaters in it. Well, they’re so plain I just really needed to add somebody colorful to the tank. Here’s my boy! At first he chased the rice fish but once I put some taller plants in the tank he settled down. I’m sure I will upgrade the tank because you know, one tank leads to another. I’m loving this guy! Name suggestions welcomed!
