In addition to characteristics others have pointed out, the white tipped fins with black stripe, and vermiculation across the back (not super visible in your photo) are quite distinct on brookies. People sometimes say lakers have it all across their skin, but it looks quite different. Once you understand what you’re looking for on brookies it sticks out like a sore thumb.
