shakespeare tele rod – 20 bux
no name spin reel – 20 bux
1 curated small tackle box and a small selection of plastic and a dozen nightcrawlers.
My dad bought 2 Zebco bullets and gave me one, so I gave him one of my platinums. I would have never bought a 100 dollar reel myself and I dont like it any better than the platinum. we can usually hit our limits in 2 hours with this cheap stuff. Pictured, I’d say I have 170 dollars in the setup.
Three rods and all the tackle I need fits into a small backpack that is ready to roll on a moments notice.
stop thinking a better rod and reel means more fish. If you are a bad fisherman, an expensive rod and reel isn’t gonna help.
