Original tank had some issues: no heater and no plants or cover of any kind. I don't have pictures of when I originally got it but I immediately added a big anubias style plant and some botanicals
I've doted on him since I got him. Have been doing a new cycle. Never cycled a tank this small so minor issues with burn/tears on his ventril fins (plastics don't help). Cycle is almost complete, going into his 3rd week with me
And I'm able to educate her as I go so she'll be ready when she takes him back in a few months
He made a bubble nest last week. Flares up when I go for pictures; his fatherly instinct is strong
