Let's get the elephant out of the room, the sheep have been RIDICULOUSLY picky. I'm taking picky like, let's spend 15 minutes on a single piling to have a fish nibble on your crab, carry it around, spit it out, and leave, never to be seen again.
Despite that, we toughed it out. Scanned literally hundreds of pilings and got it done.
Mike put a 10.8lb, 24" citation in the kayak, 4 keepers in the bag, released a few more, and had another handful spit the hook.
On the way in I even had time to catch and release 2 keeper sized fish myself.
