What are these weighted hooks for with the weird flat weight? Do they go with a specific soft plastic? (Found in a bag of old/vintage fishing gear somone gave me)

I’ve been using Charlie Brewer Sliders for a lot of years and won’t be stopping soon. The video shown below doesn’t show the best way of rigging a slider, by the way. They are normally rigged weedless, and fished slowwwwwly.
