I’ve been looking to get into surf fishing and saw this listing nearby. I mostly do freshwater fishing at my local ponds/lakes/creeks. Spoke with some anglers last time I was at a beach, asking about their equipment. One guy was explaining his setup and gear and was like “oh this one was pretty cheap maybe like $500”. Yowza. I’m not looking to go after 10 ft tigers (fishing in NYC / Long Island) but would be nice to have a slightly beefier rod reel combo. I’ve taken some of my freshwater poles to the beach and caught some flounder which was so much fun. Would be cool to diversify a bit more tho. Thanks!!
