HCC50 spooled with 6 lb braid to a 4 lb mono leader paired with a 6' crappiemaxx rod, and it makes the white bass all feel big!

Got out about an hour and a half before sunset and fished an hour into dark. Targeted sandy bottom areas that had grasslines along the edges and jutting out.

All in the waning light came on a 1 inch swimbait in pearl paired with a 1/16 oz jig with a fast retrieve. Once the sun went down I switched off to a 2.5 inch black swimbait paired with an 1/8 oz and they wanted it swam along the bottom then. All in total, I caught around 15, and just 4 of those came after dark! Not too shabby for still just scouting spots and a short session!

The weather was a bit overcast and as the sun dipped behind the trees and the air cooled, the whites started blitzing out too far for me to reach unfortunately
