Caught this fish on Saturday, 8/24, in Surfside/Freeport beach area after a big windstorm blew through. Thought it was a sand trout at the time but looking back at the photo I’m wondering if it might be a light colored Cobia or something else? I’m new to saltwater fishing so still learning the different types. Any help would be appreciated! It was approx. 13-14 inches and I threw it back as I wasn’t certain on the ID.
