When a simp (Hydra) you don't like is there so you avoid them (hence the scrunched up part of the Nerite foot)
I unfortunately have a small case of Green hydra (not too worried, this has happened in the past) This tank has A Male Betta, a 15+ colony of Neocaridina shrimp, 1 Nerite snails (as pictured), and various "pest snails" (Bladder snails, color variations of ramshorn snails, mylasian trumpet snails, and "gyro" snails).
If it gets too out of hand, I do have "no planeria" in which case I'd treat the tank accordingly.
Posting mostly to show how bigger snails will avoid these little things.
