If the glass and silicone seal aren’t damaged, then it’s not an issue. Same thing happened to my tank, it’s a bit old and the plastic rim on the bottom peeled away from the glass. 6 months in with no issues

I have a brand new tank and it has that same type of gap. I don’t think that plastic piece is structural, I think it’s just like a bumper to prevent damage to the bottom
