I got 2 "new" reels from someone a friend knew the first reel is a spinning reel it's a SHIMANO sedona 2500fd (5bb 6:2:1) and a old baitcaster Diana millionaire 4h (unknown lmk if known) has anyone heard of these or used them? For the baitcaster one is it ok to use since it's a old baitcaster I throw it in the yard a few times max drag I think it is or something like that and I got no back lash so?

Also does the bait caster need more line?? I feel it does but I expected to get backlash none stop so I just put a ok amount on there for now the baitcaster will simply be a backup so
