Ordered May 15th during the birthday sale. Got them on the 23rd. The wait was kinda nuts but I talked to a guy on here who has a bunch and he told me to expect a few month wait time.

Got 2 Blackwidows and 1 Delta. The BWs are an MBR 735 casting and a DSR 711 spinning. The delta is a MBR 723 spinning.

Initial impressions, the fit and finish and overall look is 10/10. The rods are finished very very well.

Apparently the delta line was redone sometime between my order and me getting it? It is completely different than what is shown on the website. The delta uses Fuji reel seats now, which is why my order took so long. The BWs were done in like a month and a half but edge was waiting on a shipment of Fuji reel seats. The delta seems a little tip heavy and on first impressions.

The 2 BWs are very nice, the balance is great, light, I actually really like the carbon handles. I’m a big split handle guy and the one piece handle is very nice. The drop shot rod is VERY light power. It’s their “finesse” power. I don’t think I’ll be using it drop shotting 1/2 oz or more in 50 feet of water. It feels like it’s gonna be a 1/8 oz rod in shallower water. It’s extremely light weight tho physically. The MBR feels very similar to a Loomis MBR I was looking at in a store weight and action wise.

One gripe, for the love of god if any rod companies are reading this, if you’re selling a drop shot rod, DONT USE CLOSED HOOK KEEPERS. Use the open ones that we can clip the drop shot weight to. Most frustrating design decision any rod company makes.
