Betta Fish: My betta is changing colour?

I got my first betta about 25 days ago and ive noticed hes gotten a few black scales and a bit more white fin is that normal?

    Yep very normal, my guy went from being a beautiful orange koi to the United States flag.

    Aww he has a marbling gene! Totally normal btw, I bought a guy with turquoise scales who ended up being red white and blue! That first pic has me cracking up btw, he’s a star for the cam
