Rod recommendations for bait runner

Hey y’all, I recently bought this spinning reel (5000) and have been trying to find an appropriate rod for it. I am new to fishing, mostly have caught small catfish on my smaller spinning setup. A friend recommended a new spot but says there’s catfish he’s caught there around 20-40lbs. What’s a good beginner rod for this reel that won’t necessarily break the bank. Thanks in advance!
