Just picked up my first Abel Rove reel 4/6 in a raffle and I am trying to figure out a good WF5 line to put on. I typically fly fish warmer waters that are primarily lakes and ponds in TX. Occasionally I will be going to Colorado, Wyoming, Oregon, and Oklahoma as well for streams/rivers. My current setup is a hand me down 7/8 reel using Cortland 444 peach in 5wt with a 5wt rod which will eventually be changed to just a 8wt setup. What would be an all around good line to put on this high end reel with a primary focus on Stillwater with an occasional river trip. I also thought about just transferring the backing and line to the new reel since I want to switch the other reel to a 8wt setup and keep a 5wt setup and a 8wt setup.
