Well I’m usually out in the sun so an insulated cup would be better than a clear plastic bottle like this so that my water can stay as cool as possible. You can find them pretty much anywhere for a decent price

Eh whatever you have really. As long as you have enough water for the time you’re out fishing.
In the hotter months I like having an insulated bottles so I can put cold water in it and it stays cold. Those are heavy but not a factor since I mainly fish from a kayak.
