I’ve been placed in charge of redoing this tank at my preschool (the teacher who made it just got fired) and I want some advice/ideas on stocking and general aesthetics. I believe it’s a 30 gallon with a Pleco, 6 rosy tetras and a few sickly neons.
I’m planning on replacing the substrate with natural gravel and the decor with driftwood.

I’d love to add some livebearers for educational ‘circle of life’ type lessons and some cories cause they’re cute. We’re thinking of giving the Pleco to a pet store because he scares some of the kids lol.

  1. Recreating a natural habitat would be really cool for a school, maybe aim for a biotope aquarium. Pick a region and try to recreate how it looks and what animals live there. Btw, I feel like that tank would look great with some Vallisneria plants! Good luck!
