Yeah it’s better to just remove it and replace it, a strong cleaner like acetone should weaken the glue then you can use a small thin piece of metal to remove it

Replace the whole tip. Repair kits are sold in most tackle stores and only cost a couple dollars. It’s an easy DIY fix
