So I am a crankbait guy I have a ton specifically Salmo. I think its just because so many fish will hit on them but my question is i have a ton of colors but the only one thats seems to work is this one? Is it just a confidence thing? I throw it in any water and it just works.

What happened to that fella?
It really might be a confidence thing. When I’m fishing a bait I’m less confident in, I won’t cast as many times, I won’t retrieve as thoughtfully, sometimes I catch myself looking for the next cast before I’m done with the current one.
Or it’s that amazing and I need to buy one. Make/model?
Could be literally anything. Color, sound, movement, shit even just your confidence with it like you said. Every areas different too. Everybody’s got their go to lure or worm. I know people that say it’s black and red or it’s purple or like me it’s just straight black trick worm. And 98% of the time theyre right. I’d say try other purple lures to see if it’s the color, if it rattles try other rattle lures, try some with the same bill on the front, try some the same size, just experiment and see what they like about that one lure
