i have a problem beacause i bought a new reel and the line is more stacked at the top. Any ideas to make it more even. Also can someone tell me if I put to much line.
1. You can add shims under the spool to fix the line lay. If your reel didn’t come with them, you can make your own.
2. I think you overfilled it a bit. I go to where the top parts starts to angle up.

You’ve got a little too much line on there, but it’s supposed to be like that. Helps with casting distance supposedly

your reel is fairly over spooled. after you get the shim added you should put that braid back on the reel, but leave a small lip visible on the top of the reel.
