Started fishing last month. Got on this subreddit and learned what gear to buy, what a leader is, what knots to tie, how to use each lure, what baits to use, how to set hooks, the different hook types, how to handle and safely release fish etc. and i already caught my first 10 pounder. Couldn’t have done it without yall!
