My son with a little fatty of a smallmouth from April. I don’t think it has a lot of length, but it’s thick for a river fish. Sadly, a few weeks after he took this pic, he broke his leg and couldn’t fish for most of the spring/summer.
Was fishing for blue gill with a little mosquito hook and a tiny pinched off piece of red worm. Said he thought it was a big blue gill…turned out to be a large mouth. Posted by Poncho562
