So drove 50 mins to a "lake" that has some pretty big bass in it along with bluegill for baitfish. They recently added 1000 bluegill because they discovered there were not enough bait fish for the bass to grow. Got on the water for about 4 hours 11am – 3 pm. Fished the entire "lake" with each lure about 45 mins each. I visibly saw them striking and coming up. So I'd cast past or near. The only thing I caught was an aggressive and ambitious bluegill. Even other attempts at bass fishing I am not having any luck. Any suggestions or advice on what I am doing wrong?
