I stopped fishing about 5 years ago when my best friend passed. I finally got back on the water with my dad’s old shitty gear. Hooked into some nice smallies along the Niagara river. 1/4 oz white rooster tail. Went 6/7. The dog wasn’t impressed. Great to get back on the water. Now time to get ready for the fall trout run. Tight lines and loose drag yall!

I have so many memories fishing smallies with my dad growing up. Sorry for your loss. Looks like your buddy was looking down on you that day!
