Aquariums: Are herbs such as mint, oregano, basil…etc, harmful to aquarium?
I'm thinking of planting some herbs like mint on top of my aquarium (aquaponics) but ive heard that herbs are harmful to aquatic life because they contain essential oils. Is this true?

It should probably be fine as long as you only have the roots In the water I’ve never tried it before though
