Chubbies were being hammered by the little guys tonight, and then this piglet decided to join the party.
I was fishing a tight little pocket at the front of a hole in fast water. Not an easy drift, tons of micro mends needed to keep a good drift and I watched this fish look at my chubby 5 times before deciding to swallow it halfway down its throat on the 6th drift.
Measured 19” on the net, had a few others in the 16”-18” range shortly after.
The Sierras have been on 🔥the past 2 weeks.
