The river is quite fast and about 4’ wide and maybe 1m deep in middle. Apparently in this river in September/October season there is grayling but I wonder if this area is to shallow and fast with some areas being fast and rocky. I have only ever been fishing in a stocked pony 6/7 years ago. Sorrry the photo is dark but if I grab my fishing rod would I have any luck. The river is the esk in Scotland specifically at lasswade. And if so what is the best technique.
