I’m not a fan of Lew’s. I’d personally go with a $100-$150 rod and a Shimano or Daiwa reel in your budget.

it’s just a lews reel + rod with ktb branding, definitely worth it as i love lew’s. however if you don’t care for the ktb branding you could just get a lew’s for probably cheaper
