I recently purchased a couple of SA fly rods, discontinued years ago. These are never used, and I got them pretty damn cheap. Newer to fly fishing, but I’ve trout fishing with a 5wt. I am surrounded by the Puget Sound so I wanted to get an 8wt for Coho fishing off the bay. Found these for a bargain, but not much information on them out there. Anyone have any experience or word mouth on them? Scientific Anglers 8wt fly rods with Concept reel.

I think these used to be sold in Walmart kits. I don’t think they were any good. But hey, if you can cast it, it will catch fish. I have plenty of rods that aren’t “good” but I enjoy fishing from time to time.
