hello!! this is my new baby betta. her decided name is queenie so far. she’s incredibly feisty and beautiful! she was sold to me as a female but i see no egg spot and honestly no ovaries. can anyone help confirm her sex?
Looks female to me. The anal fin is not nearly as pointed as it is with a male.

Can’t see an egg spot but the front of her is very female-shaped lol I would guess female. If you want to find out for sure you could try conditioning with warm water and a big feeding to see if she puffs up with eggs but it could stress her out and might not work without male pheromones or at least a male flaunting for her.
