Hey boys and girls. I am new in this subreddit (got a tip from a user in the outdoors subreddit, so thanks to that person!) and wanted to share a great trip i had this weekend. Had a beautiful fishing trip to a Norwegian mountian lake. The one in the pic was the biggest for the trip at about 550 grams (1.2 lbs for the Americans), got it at around 6 in the morning before the water for my morning coffe was boiling so ignore my scruffy beard and puffy eyes. Got 6 about this size during the stay. Also a couple of smaller ones that was hooked okay so I let them go. Great average size for a small lake like this, perfect for coocking whole. At this altitude its not many months of the year where there are no ice on the water and snow in the mountains. The spot on the reindeer picture is probably not gonna melt this year even if it have been a hot one (for us Norwegians at least) and it was great to store the fish i got the first night that I did not eat. The lure in the 4th pic was a worker as always. Definitley gonna be back here in a couple of years to check how the trouts are doing.
