Hello! Brand new angler here. Only been fishing for couple of weeks. Mainly fishing at lakes.
I've had a good success with power baits. Eggs and micetail. Caught some decent sized trouts and bass with them.
I originally fell in love with fishing while watching people fishing with spinners. So I've got some Panther Martins and Roostet Tails. 0 luck so far. I'm not getting a single bite.
I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Do you guys have any advice or favorite setup?

During the day fish generally move to deeper water and spinners probably aren’t reaching them. This is likely why you’re catching them on bait and other weighted things. Fish in the morning with lures and you’ll probably have better luck with them. This would apply to lake and pond fishing and not streams
