Can anyone chime in on the new st croix avid rod? Specifically the 7' medium fast spinning rod. I checked out the MH fast today at tackle direct and it's a sweet rod but its rated higher then I'm looking for (anything higher than 1/2 oz, I'm using a baitcaster) I'm looking for a Solid FW spinning rod that can also cross over into some light inshore fishing for trout and flounder. Thanks for any and all info!

Are you using a BFS baitcaster? Lures that light don’t cast well on baitcasters
I use a 6’6″ ML Fast action Avid, and it’s my primary rod combo out of 6 total. Super lightweight and sensitive. I use it to catch everything from bass to slot reds
