What would all of you throw here? A local told me to throw medium-size nymphs I’m relatively new to flyfishing and I’m seeking insight. I caught one brown trout on the nymph that the local gave me, he said it was infused with tungsten or something. I don’t remember. I’m also too broke to afford waders so I just go barefoot. lol 😂 I don’t know the full regulations, but I’m pretty sure that it was flys only and they had to be barbless so he spit the hook right as he got in the net and I could just release him within 15 seconds. I was there for the whole weekend and fished all day Saturday and Sunday, how do y’all think I did? I know I could’ve done better but for last-minute trip and not knowing anything about the place I was surprised that I caught anything at all.
