Got a good deal on an O.G. 2002 Carolina. No sea dragon, but she’s getting me back into touring kayaks after 26 years! Today’s projects: new seat pad, new hip pads, add rigging forward of the forward hatch, repair the broken rudder keeper. Rod holders (and maybe a 6” track) to be installed behind the seat arrive Tuesday.

Careful about cluttering the area aft of the cockpit, you need that area clear for getting in and out of the boat, especially during self rescue.
