Serious question, what does the atomizer do? Or is it for looks?

What did you use for all soil? Did you use a mix of aquasoil and something please share what you used.

I like both the tank and the atomizer. The triple layer effect is interesting. It made me do a double take. The plants and rocks are decently arranged. It makes me feel happy just looking at them.
Without it, it looks great too. But I think the atomizer adds a nice unique look to it. You just gotta blend it more with the background, figure a way to hide your testers and filter so they don’t stand out and you have a very good setup.
Why not turn on the atomizer at night and leave it off during the day?

how often do you have to clean the atomizer membrane
when I use atomizer with tank water, the membrane clog very fast
I have to use a separate water tank with RO water with the atomizer
