I’m new to spin fishing please help me out. These pigtails happen on every cast. I put the line on counterclockwise like everyone said to but it’s still happening. I did switch the reel to right hand strip, could that be why? I used green Berkeley 8lb line. I’ll redo it if I have to. Please help me

You put the line on twisting, need to re spool. Watch a few video on how to correctly spool a spinning reel and how to avoid that twist.
I would tie on a swivel then attach something to it so you can anchor it. Let as much line out as possible than real it in tight. Some would say to also remove the real and set it in very warm water. Mono will stretch and has memory
Make sure that you have a swivel in your line.
