Ok, so like, I’m not going to lie, that shit is terrible. Sure, this is very specific EUDM stuff that I’ve never used before, but look at the reel: https://shakespearefishing.eu/collections/spinning-reels/products/cypry-carp-fs-1409553
It has a graphite spool for crying out loud! The reel is like $20 and comes pre spooled with line. This is the absolute cheapest bait runner reel by a major brand on the market.
BUT on the other hand. If you’re new, and you aren’t an extremely avid angler, it might be perfect for you. Carp don’t bite very much, and so more rods are almost always the better choice over better rods and reels. Like, don’t be the guy who spends $800 on gear only to go fishing 5 times a year catching like, 7 fish…..
