Can someone explain at what point do they get thrown away? I mean aside from being dead..

I just find it so sad that some people will just toss out living creatures like a piece of trash, yeah most of them are sick and I get that these employees are just doing what they are told to but 90% of the illnesses that these big box store fishes have are treatable they should just be marked down not just thrown out, kudos to you OP for saving such a beautiful little fishy from pending doom
